Farmers work hard to produce vegetables, grains and other things that remain on the farm, market is almost unavailable. Farmers have to tell their problems by throwing their produce on the road.
Loud lectures on domestic violence are tirelessly given but how many citizens are there who have houses with separate room(s) for their young children?
Socialism does not come from "declaration" of a leader. This is a way of living life. In a society where people can not be happy to renounce personal selfishness for collective wellbeing, socialism, no matter of what kind, is practically impossible. "Our" political parties no way teach their cadres any socialism but rowdy unsocial individualism. Broken, dusty or muddy roads in front of stately houses is a proof that "rich" people are not socialists. Those who believe in socialism, irrespective of its "type," give less importance to personal property. For happiness it is not important to have expensive things inside a personal house but to have advanced roads outside the house and beautiful public places. But here those who loot public properties continue to advocate "socialism" and "buddhism."
This is a small country and if the rulers want it will not take time to raise. But it seems that the most corrupt people of the world are entering into politics here. The more educated the son is, the more dowry is sought, especially in Madhesi community. Such things reflect not on trend towards socialism but on deep impression of egocentric individualism. These are the things that invite wars. In a land where the rulers are unjust, and the businessmen know only how to "take," the deathlike peace does not last long. One can read and learn from Microsoft's founder Bill Gates who does not want to give his earnings to his children but rather wants to give to charity to help the poor. Criminalization, demonization and terroristization of poor is not a solution.
